  • What should I expect during my first visit?

During your initial visit, our occupational therapist will conduct an assessment to understand your needs and goals. You will discuss your medical history, daily activities, and any concerns you may have. This information will guide the development of a personalized treatment plan. 

  • Do I need a referral to see an occupational therapist?

 While a referral is not required, some insurance plans may ask for one. It's advisable to check with your insurance provider or contact us directly for guidance on the referral process.

  • Do you accept insurance?    

Occupational therapy is covered under most extended health benefit plans. We offer direct billing to Canada Life (PSHCP), ClaimSecure, Desjardins Insurance, Industrial Alliance Financial Group and Medavie Blue Cross.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?   

You can schedule an appointment by calling our clinic at 506-922-0135 or using our online appointment booking system in the Contact us section of our website. 

  • How long is a typical occupational therapy session?    

Session lengths vary based on individual needs and treatment plans. On average, a session can last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Your therapist will discuss the expected duration during your initial assessment.

  • Are virtual/telehealth options available?

Yes, we offer virtual occupational therapy sessions to New-Brunswickers who prefer or require remote services. This option provides flexibility and accessibility while maintaining the quality of care.
